Hey all -

Is anyone aware of any free, simple voice recorder programs? All I need to do is record audio and save it to my laptop. I've seen several posts claiming VR+ is free, but my license expired after 7 days and now I can't use the program.

Any suggestions are welcome.

This is kind of an inconvenient way of doing it, but you could use GrandCentral, which is free. When you receive a call, you have the option of recording the call (press 4 during a GrandCentral call to record it). A download link is immediately emailed to you, or you can access the recording online and download it from there.

Unfortunately, you can't just call yourself and start a recording. If you call yourself, you get the voicemail menu, which doesn't have an option to record a memo. You can only record incoming calls, so you'd have to call your phone from another number to record a memo.

hey, i have the COD and ALX files for a version of VR+ that is free. only you can not send the recordings by Email, you can connect your BB to a computer as a Mass Storage and transfer the files, or store the recordings onto an SD card and remove the card and insert into ur computer.

Depending on who ur carrier is, you might have a pre-loaded app that will record ur voice and Email them to you. i know at&t Pearl's have it pre-loaded.

i download the trial of this vr+ and i love it. can anyone send me the license code or have some sort of crack for it? please reply and i will give you my email

Dont ask questions like that here. Easy way to get banned. These programs cost time and money to develop. Its not fair to rip off the developers. And besides, most of these programs are pin specific, its not so easy to crack programs for our blackberrys
