Dumb question here. I downloaded the DataVault app to my pc last Friday - or at least I think I did. I intended to install at a later date but now I can't find it on my pc. Does anyone know the name of the file that was downloaded? I thought it was a zip file but I don't see anything that screams "DataVault" at me.

I'm fairly certain that it doesn't matter what you did with the download. Just go to Ascendo's site and download it again. All that matters is that you still have the e-mail with your registration code that allows you to "unlock" the trial version.

Today's free app is for Symbian phones... The file name you're looking for is "ascendodatavaultv4_36bb164739.zip"

It's been awhile, but once I thought I read something where Mark Rejhon stated that certain Symbian applications could be used on a BlackBerry with a few modifications? Something about them both being Java of some sort? Does anyone remember or think that it is possible?

If they're Java - today's free app is Papyrus (a great app for S60) which is a standard C++ app written to integrate, it's the same as PocketDay for our BlackBerries basically. PocketDay, while J2ME/Java, is written with the specific BlackBerry APIs and can't be used on a generic java device for instance; Papyrus here is the same for S60.

Is Handango still doing this? If so, where do you go/look for the link?
