crs,
Will this only integrate the new V3 of Empower currently being tested in Beta or my version 2.3?
Thank you for the update. I will be sure to provide my feedback.
Thanks,
Mark

crs,
I really like the time bar in the calendar display. Very nice touch to let you know your free time.
Thanks,

I still don't understand why when in the Month View on Pocket Day only like one tenth of my appts appear as an icon/bar thing..... even though they are listed on the bottom as I scroll over the date. But for some reason the last two weeks of appts are always shown. Never made any sense and still doesn't. What am I missing?

I'm having the same issue. November month view looks like I have appointments ONLY in the first two weeks, but I have numerous appt. at the end of the month. The icon within the date square doesn't appear. If I highlight that date, THEN the appt. shows at the bottom of the screen, but the icon showing an appt. should show up in any box which represents a date I have an appointment on.
Also, when I have an appointment on, say, Thurs. that is "Meet Camille", it shows up on the monthly view for that day, but it also is displayed on the following day! In fact, numerous appointments are showing both on the day they occur AND on the following day! Very confusing.....
I can resist anything but temptation.

I have had my 8830 reset on its own twice tonight after installing the PD Beta..... this is not looking good for stability as I have never had my 8830 do that.

I'm not sure I understand why my Weekend appointments don't show up on the Summary page, Today, & Weekly. If I go to monthly view and highlight the day, they show up at the bottom of the page. But don't show the blocked time. If I use a theme with a calendar option, these 8 hour appointments show up. But not in PocketDay.
I also enabled Empower in PocketDay. I am a registered user of the current shipping version. When I click the trackball to open the new message, it just goes away. I have put a check mark on Enable Empower.
I am using an 8820 on AT&T running software version 4.2.2.184.
Thanks.

There are a few issues with appointments on this new beta that we are working on.
The empower integration ONLY works on the new empower Beta, not the older versions. This was a collaberative effort.
I've never had one single report of pocketday causing a BB reset, but we'll keep our eye on things.

crs,
I am trying out the new beta. One item I would like to see added is to have a different color background in the Today view for my meetings and the day/time bar.
Right now I have different colors selected for appointments and day seperator in the colors and fonts settings, but they all come up with the color of appointments. Having this setting would make the application much more easy to read.
Keep up the good work on the application.
P.S. - any way to now show the attached contacts name on the display for meetings and tasks?
Thanks,
Mark

Hello,
Is this a beta 5.15 version of Pro as well? I have Pro installed and don't want to loose those options.
Thanks a ton

The Beta will be pro or personal depending on what you already have. It will use all your current settings.

So those of us who were not able to be one of the lucky 20 or so that got the Empower beta are SOL until that is released? I can't read email without exiting PD.
Can't see all my appointments.
Blackberry Messenger alerts don't show up on the Summary page anywhere. They are in the Messages box . No visual indication there have been messages unless I exit PD.
hmmm... Ok... Don't guess I'll be able to test this then. Maybe later.

There is an indicator on the main BB screen. Since PocketDay covers that up, I would never know someone had sent a message while away from my phone. Thanks for clarifying that for me. I use that too often not to be able to see it.
Best of luck on your new release. I'll have to pass on it.

We have released a patch (version 5.16) that corrects the issues with the calendar views and the performance issues. Same link:
http://www.pocketday.com/files/v5x/pdp51os42.jad
There will be some new features (disabling the time bars, colors, etc.) coming in the next day or so.

CRS,
Is there any way to have a Profile icon on the main PD screen, presumably near the top, where you can scroll to it and click on it to change profiles? I always have found it handy to have access to the profiles menu from the main screen I use, which is the PD home screen.

Map a hotkey to the Profile app in pocketday settings / keymaps.
If you have trouble downloading, click refresh from the download screen to get it to show 5.16. then download

5.16 fails. CRS, it gets about 66% of the way through and then it fails, if I select details I get the following error 907 Invalid COD, Unable to import ZIP file. The link is clearly for a .jad file? Any ideas? Thanks.
Edit: I got it to download, first impressions are good although I am note sure I understand the point of the 2 line title bar, can't seem to configure, what am I missing? Also, really like the check for updates option but if I select it now, I have 5.16 installed, it says Checking for updates, and comes back with Click to Download v5.16. If I try to click it it just exits out, since I have 5.16 obviously, but why give the option, it should just say something like you have the latest version.
BlackBerry 9530, trying 4.7.0.90, come on baby please don't media card me

What calendar changes were made for v5.16? I am still having issus (started w/ 5.15) where mulit-day, all-day events only show up on the first day.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Other than that, I really like the update.

what BB model and OS version? Can you give me an example (all details) of a multi-day all day event that only shows up on the first day? Also, what view are we talking about Summary screen, week or month)?

I was not the OP, but I can confirm the issue on the Today, Summary, Week, and Month screens -- 8703e, OS v4.2.1.106. Create a multi-day, all-day event beginning tomorrow (4 December) through Thursday, 6 December -- it only shows up for tomorrow.

Performance problems still there -

Drat. I was really hoping that this new version would clear up the performance problems that have been dogging me since I purchased PocketDay. But they are still there. For example, when I completely escape out of PocketDay and then go to the applications screen to re-run it, it takes 45 seconds to get it started again. The ribbon still takes way too long - 30 seconds or so to switch between applications (making the feature unusable). Sometimes when I go into unread messages, delete them all, and then escape back to PocketDay, I have a 30 second delay.
Would have also liked to see more options to assign key mappings (10 is just not enough).

PocketDay is meant to be running all the time. That's how you get the most benefit from the application. That said, the start up time is directly related to the number of calls (all of them) in your call log and the size and depth (number of folders) in your inbox.
The ribbon bar in PocketDay takes 30 seconds? Switch to what apps? Or are you talking about the BB ribbon bar? PocketDay has nothing to do with the BB ribbon. It may be a memory issue...how much free memory do you have?

took three attempts to download..kept asking if I wanted to replace modules in PD Pro to which I responded yes (noted that it said it may corrupt certain modules)
After installing I clicked on the PD icon and was met with an error. Now I'm trying to reinstall version 5.12

2 line titlebar - you need to exit pocketday using the exit command on the menu and restart it to see the effects.
TRIdad, what error did you get? Set application permissions for pocketday to Allow for everything
