Default Google Maps - 12-03-2007, 01:33 AM

For God sake, even it's own search engine can't answer this...How can u clear favorite or recent places out of Google Maps. Thought it may be simple like clearing Beyond 411, but it is not.

Is there any way short of going Help/Reset Google Maps?

thanks

ps
the gps that you see when u right click, is the keychain receiver recommended by john or one of the mods all the would be needed for the 8320 or will I still need more?

Maybe because they assume it's users will review the help file.

Not sure which version you are running but in the current version, select Help. Scroll down to Reset Google Maps. Google Maps then displays exactly what information will be reset (cookie, favorites, history of search terms, preferences, map & satellite image cache). Google Maps also tells you that it will erase this information, then exit. Then click the button.

When in doubt, empty the magazine...

Yes, a Bluetooth GPS puck is all you need for GPS on the 8320. John Clark here really likes the Freedom product line.

I thought my question said "Short of going to Help" because this reset it to the beginning
