i used to have a program on my nextel that had:

calculator
currency conversion
loan/interest calculator


(all of the below fell under metic tool):
volume conversion
distance conversion
weight conversion
speed conversion
area conversion


is there anything like this for the BB?

Blackberry's default calculator does the Metric <--> English conversion. You might need to find the other applications which handle the loan/interest, and currency.

yeah the default calculator's inteface isnt that great.

the one i had on my nextel was the motorola calculator suite. it work so great. im sure there is something comparable for the BB, i just gotta find it.
