Default Looking for IM to talk with Treos

What is the best IM program that will talk with Treos. I used to have one and loved the SMS program built in but now going to BB I am wondering what you guys use? what is the best IM program or any program?

JiveTalk is the best, for IM communication with any device--handheld or desktop.

I guess I will be looking into Jivetalk. what is there web site? Does my buddy have to have jivetalk also? How do we set it up for us to talk?

A simple search here or google could find... BeeJive :: JiveTalk mobile messenger - instant messaging to go

Your buddy does not have to have it, it will contain your AIM, yahoo, gtalk , etc., accounts. Follow the instructions to set it up.

tritan, your friends don't need to have jivetalk in order for you to use it. Jivetalk is an "all in one" IM application. For instance, if your friend is on AIM or googletalk or both, all you would need to do with jivetalk is add them to your buddy list. Simple as that.

correct my wife doesnt have jivetalk but I can chat with her just fine on MSN or aim and I can chat with ICQ myspace Jabber thats why its the best.

Its like using pidgin or trillian on the desktop

But you do not need JiveTalk <--> JiveTalk communications. JiveTalk simply is a all-emcompassing Instant message application for the BB.

Thanks for answering my questions. I am trying to find a program that will put IM Googletalk on my buddies Treo. He doesn't have anything I guess his treo only has yahoo and AIM.
