I am new blackberry user, just got it last Thursday. I downloaded the ramble im and the BB weather program, and they worked well Friday. Since then I get the following error: "Invalid Connection String Bad DNS address" when I try to connect. I can get online fine and I receive email. Any ideas what might cause this. I called my provider and they say my account is setup correctly and it should work. Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Sorry forgot to add that I have a BB 7250

go to TCP and change the APN to wap.voicestream.com, and leave the username and password blank, if that doesnt help check out this link BlackBerry Internet - MSN/chat/web/telnet/TCPIP - No BES!

BTW I was gonna get that rambler for my 7290, is it good, how quick does it IM.

so I downloaded that Ramble program, it works great and I changed my APN to the specified one, and its actually doing the same thing, it'll work and than logout with that connection string error. Why?

I do not know where the TCP settings are located. I do not see them under the settings menu.

options --> TCP

I dont have that option. My BB is CDMA.
