Default New app in the Berry 411 family - 06-29-2005, 06:48 PM

Berry Reverse Phone Lookup is a free Blackberry application that allows you to conveniently enter a phone number into your Blackberry and view the corresponding name and address.

Handy when you need to figure out who called you or where someone lives. It's more convenient than using the web browser because the app launches quickly from the home page and data entry is easier-- the input field is locked to numeric mode.

Click the following link for OTA and application loader install instructions: http://thebogles.com/projects.html#lookup

I'm with Brenteus. I tried a dozen CDN numbers and it couldn't find any of them.

Thanks for this app. It is one of those not used often apps, but when you need it and its there, ready for you, it is a Godsend. Keep up the great apps.

I used "Berry Reverse Phone Lookup" on my 7730, and I liked it. Yesterday, I got a new Blackberry 7250, and I wanted to install that application on it. However, when I go to http://thebogles.com/projects.html#lookup and click on the "Berry Lookup" link, I get

I get a similiar error when I attempt to do a OTA download.

I must have deleted my desktop copy of my initial download of that file. Is that application for sale somewhere now? If not, does anybody have a copy they can post?

Great job, this will come in handy. At least once a month I find my self struggling to get on a PC to do a reverse lookup.

One suggestion though. Wouldn't this be easy to integrate into Berry 411? You could just type the number in, press the track wheel, and select Reverse Lookup? The fewer programs to scroll through on the home screen the better.

Regardless though, great app.

I get "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request The Server could not understand the page request, or was unable to process it for some reason" when I try the OTA link on the DL page. Sure would be nice to try it out.

it is part of the latest release of Berry 411. it is a plug-in. all you have to do is go to the "add plug-ins" screen in Berry 411 and in an available space type "rphone".......done dada!
