Lightbulb BB Rememeber the Milk being developed now !! - 01-07-2008, 07:09 PM

First of all Happy New Year stackers, I am extremely happy to report that Remember the Milk is being actively developed as we speak and the developer and myself need some help with suggestions and ideas of what BB Rtm will end up being. Right now the backend stuff with the API is being worked out and this week the GUI is coming to life, when the time comes we'll open the beta to the general public and before that we'll have a small alpha test group.

Devices Supported
_______________

I personally have 3 BB, an 8700C, 8800, and 8300 all running OS 4.2 and the developer and 8830 so we'll need someone with a Pearl on 4.2 because initially that's going to be the OS supported, perhaps in the future OS 4.1 will be supported but we'll keep you guys posted here.

because this application has a lot of following the developer is asking for $100 because RIM API's requires the code to be signed to actually install the application on the Blackberry, so right now the its being tested on the simulators again this is a direct quote from the developer, I am sure that coming up with the aforementioned amount will not be a problem, we'll setup a paypal account, which I will post here so we can funnel the contributions here, the folks that help us raise this small amount, will receive the application BB Rtm for free with a corresponding license for life. Guys, this application is going to rock your world, the cost of the application is going to be somewhere in the ballpark of $00.00 so all we're asking are for a few donation for the fees associated with developing the application

If you are familiar with RTM then you'll know that they have an iPhone version available for the PRO users and we are planning to offer similar functionality.

So to the conclude this initial post, make sure you post everything related to this application on this thread not to loose track of the all the important comments that will come our way.

PS. the GUI will be something similar to the Facebook application for blackberry

Jorge Ledesma

I thought Pinstack and Blackberry Forums was the same thing just two of them, so I figured we are all stackers,

Many BBF members here (myself included) are not friendly with Pinstack, I'd advise leaving the stackering over there to avoid some bad blood. There are threads that go into the reasons, no sense repeating here - but the forums are *not* friends with one another.

(FYI only. )

OK so I re-read the first post and I still don't quite know what RtM is - going by the name, is this a groceries/shopping list manager that stores your data online with an applet on the BB to access and work with it?

Thanks for letting us know! Not sure why the whole Pinstack thing is an issue to anyone here (and don't care) but glad to see the announcement.

Is this related to Remember The Milk: Online to do list and task management ? I actually have never seen it before and think it looks pretty slick. Will give it a try.

I just signed up for RTM ... Will see how it goes, I would love to have a Blackberry version of the software. Especially if it will sync with the online version of the software.

Guys, this application again will be FREEWARE for an explanation on the donations please visit the announcement link above.

thanks again.
