BIS Networking Issues

We are currently experiencing some slowness in the BIS transport with all of the North American Carriers. We are investigating this issue along with RIM and will keep you all posted.



If you see any unusual latency in sending/receiving messages or you are unable to connect through BIS transport option, try changing it to tcp.



(JiveTalk->Menu->Preferences->Networking->Transport).



Note: TCP transport option works only if you have the appropriate apn settings for your carrier under your BlackBerry Options->Advanced Options->TCP

ive been able to log in every day for the last week or two with no problems.

I did notice some slowness, but nothing to say it didn't work!!! and the slowness only lasted like... 10 minutes... haha.
