Question PocketDay Error Message - 07-01-2005, 11:03 AM

Just purchased PocketDay and searched the forum for answers but no luck. I use BES with Outlook. PocketDay is not seeing my appointments. When I expand the view I get "No Appts- Error 3" with an explanation of the problem which I can't read because it is cut off by the font size.

Also, can't figure out how to set up the back light to come on when it leaves the holster. Also, is there a support forum, or is this it? Thanks!

kdilorenzo,

Error 3 is caused by a bug in the BB OS. It means that you have an event in your calendar with a start date prior to 1970 (probably someones birthday). The BB OS returns this error when a 3rd party app tries to read the appointments.

It's been reported to RIM, but I don't have any fix for it nor an eta.

Options...change the appointment's start date (put the actual birthday in the notes field)

To configure the backlight, go to Settings / Utility Settings

There's complete documentation on the web site....http://www.crossriversystems.com/pocketday

Also, support questions can be sent by replying to the email that had your key in it.
