Default T-Mobile IM Software - 07-01-2005, 01:08 PM

I just downloaded the IM Software from T-Mobile supporting the Blackberry 7290 from http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/

It supports AIM, Yahoo, MSN Messenger and ICQ. I use Messenger and it works fantastic.

I am using it too, it's pretty good, eats up a lot of SMS though. It's good for people who got the unlimited SMS plan from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile just started offering the Unlimited SMS, IM, Picture messages for $14.99 per month. All you have to do is call them.

I use and recommend Ramble for AOL IM purposes, it uses TP so no SMS charges.

Has anyone been successful in getting this to work on Cingular? I only get to 20% logon too!

Clicked on the TMO ad on this page, looks like they have unlimited text and IM with their "minutes and mail" plans now...
nice twist.

It won't work. It uses a private t-mobile server.

Default I tried it on the 7520 - 07-14-2005, 04:00 PM

crashes my blackberry hard. Completely reboots when signing on. We should really work together to get this to work on all blackberries.
