Hi, I downloaded Viigo as an RSS reader for my BB Curve. I notice RSS readers usually only show headlines and short excerpts showing a link to the full article. Is there any application that would download full articles on a daily basis from a particular source? I ride the subway in the morning so I can't download full articles while I'm reading since I get no service underground. But ideally, I'd like to be able to get the Times or the Wallstreet Journal daily articles fully readable already downloaded...

Anybody know if this kind of app even exists?

FreeRange Newsreader performs both operations you need - offline (aka "Flight Mode") reading and the ability to download/store full articles. After you install it see Menu -> Settings -> Download and Cache (different menu choices) to fine tune the application for your needs.

does FreeRange allow to save the content to SD card? if not, any other offline RSS reader does that?

I think the subscriber dictates the amount of content shown to some extent. Not the application.

I'll agree with you on certain RSS feeds (which are quite few in number), but I will disagree in general as it's the application which controls this; most RSS feeds present the full content (some including images, like BoingBoing and BGR). FreeRange (for instance) even has an option that allows you to skip the short synopsis and always go right to the full article; I don't use it myself (I like the short synopsis) but it does work fine.
