Default Loan Calculator - 01-20-2008, 09:34 PM

I am looking for a simple program to calculate loans. I had a very simple program for an old Palm handheld that was great. You would enter any of the following: amount, term, rate, monthly payment and it would calculate whatever was blank. You could also do what ifs and adjust the rate or term and it would compare to the orginal loan. Anything like this out there for the Blackberry?

I downloaded the file and it is a .jar file type. The blackberry appears to use a .alx type file. Is there some way to make this work?

".jar" is for OTA installation, browse to that link with your BB.

I get the following error when I try to go to that site:

HTTP Error 404: Not Found

As you can expect I am new to the Blackberry. Do you have to worry about viruses and stuff when downloading software?

I was able to get past the error by visiting a different link within the website. Back to my other question regarding viruses.

I get the following question when I try to download the application:

This application does not contain a signature. It might not be from a trusted source. Do you want to proceed.

Any reason for concern, or do all the OTA downloads give you this?
