Default Ingentes Inc. Releasing Notifire - 07-05-2005, 06:55 AM

Greetings All,

Ingentes Inc. is very shortly releasing Notifire(tm). Notifire allows you to set custom notifications for incoming messages based on contacts in your address book.

Notification types are Song, vibrate, backlight, flashing LED.

There are 2 different versions of Notifire. A polyphonic version for the 7100 series, and a monophonic version for all others. The music library is upgradeable also.

Attached are some screen caps.

Thanks.

Thanks everyone. That filled out fast. I still require people with 7100 series BlackBerry.

I will also set something up to give this forum a great discount.

Not currently. But I expect in about a week a new library set will be available.

We are most likely going to break it down in terms of themes.

Question Problem with getting the Program TO DO ANYTHING - 07-09-2005, 06:39 AM

I bought the program, installed and set up following all the instructions. The program looks great and the theory is amazing. But I can't get any of my set up hot contacts to work. I have had repeated messages sent to my BB and double checked the set up and e-mail address's, but still no luck, my BB doesn't do a thing besides the normal BB alert for a new e-mail. Any help on this would be great. BTW, I also unistalled and re-installed the program to make sure and re-setup everything. HELP.

One thing that comes to mind quickly is that after the application is loaded the BlackBerry sometimes needs to be reset. Try a hard reset ( pull the batter out) and that should fix it.

Uninstalled, re-Installed, set-up and Hard Reset as you suggested.

Still no luck. I will e-mail you as requested in your PM.

also make sure you set messages/tone in the options to none. Seems the Bb tones over ride all other tones if you dont

I currently own Message Alerts. I am trying to decide what advantage Notifire has since there is no trial version available. Can anyone comment?

I would say Notifires advantage is: It is easy to setup and self-explanatory...

See what happens if you rest or change the tones on the BB.
