I'm very frustrated with the 8130's lack of ability to create playlists. I've been doing a bit of research and found the MultiPlay application which looks like it might do the trick. (My primary requirement being able to manage my music and podcasts into playlists.)

The app documentation states it is for 8100 - will it work for the 8130 as well?

Any other media players out there that you can recommend? Thank you!

That has been tested around here and got some good marks, along with FlipSide media player... look in the aftermarket section here for some details and reviews on both.

The dollar5 player works well on my Pearl, but it doesn't support changing volume when the app is in the background, which is one limitation. I've only used it for streaming some radio and a little video, can't speak to how well it works w/mp3s and audio.
