Default Finally - a free FTP client for BB that works! - 01-30-2008, 05:23 AM

BeFTP was just released and allows you to FTP from the BB. It's free for noncommercial use and is really slick (you can d/l to a card, even). Only downside is that I can't figure out how to upload. I think you can't

Still, it's a nice app that is long overdue. You can find it at Beiks Mobile - dictionaries, proofing tools, games and more for mobile devices

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8100: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Just checked it out and it works great. Nice little tool.

I used it to download their trial bible software. Works great. I have not tried to upload yet.

Nice find! ... if 3G comes to BB's we'll see corporate users begin to use this kind of applications ... DL/UL'ing files to & from their corporate Desktop/Laptop(docked) PC's to get those critical data.

Now all we need is a BT, pocketable projector-adapter that'll show content directly from the BB unit :D

Looking for that perfect signature, hmm.
