Default Blackberry Alerts - Permission Settings - 01-31-2008, 12:43 PM

I just installed this program. Can anyone tell me how to properly modify the permission settings. My assigned colors specifically the one assigned to SMS msgs keeps coming up when there are no msgs logged. Right now I have EVERYTHING set to "allow". HELP please.

I've never had to adjust any permissions to make BB Alerts work...the last time I got an SMS the LED alert worked properly for me.

Try a reset/battery pull, and maybe try changing the color assigned to SMS temporarily.

Also, in Options, make sure that "Ignore SMS Intended for Applications" is checked.
