Default Need to connect to Exchange Server - 07-07-2005, 11:03 AM

I know that the BES should handle this for me, but, after talking with a nextel rep, I, nor the company I work for, are going to fork over the money to set this up.

For the most part, I need to know if there is any aftermarket software that I can install on my 7520 which will allow me to sync up with my email, tasks, calendar and contacts.

Any solutions/help is greatly appreciated.

You could go with a third party Exchange/BES host?

Your exchange server at work may also have pop3 setup

I would assume that you could still use BB Redirector. We have no BES here but i am able to get my mail from the exchange server with that.

as long as port 110 is open on the exchange server you can use the Blackberry Internet Service to ger your email directed to your blackberry. (basically this will be seen as a pop3 by the webclient setup). If this is not set up, you will have to use redirector or a 3rd party BES type application. Also, I believe there is still a promotion in the Baltimore Washington area for a "free" BES. If you wish, email me text [email address] and I will contact you with the information.
