Empower Pro - same email shows as new, twice -

Using Empower Pro and when I get a new email and delete it quickly, sometimes it shows up back in the incoming as another new email with new email alerts (per profile setting). I have to usually wait a few seconds before deleting to prevent this. Only happens when I have Empower enabled.
Any ideas? Thanks!
