So I've searched for this everywhere, and no one seems to be having the same problem.

I'm trying to install Opera Mini OTA on my 8300 (Rogers). When I go to opera.mini.com (using the BB Browser), I get an HTTP Error 400 message. If I go to www.operamini.com and follow the links, I end up with an option to download a zip file, which of course will not work.

I've tried different browser emulation modes, and still no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

try http://mini.opera.com. from your device. i believe that is the link there. or go here http://www.operamini.com/download/sms/ and put in your phone number to have a direct link sent to the phone.

Install via mobile download
1. Point your phone's WAP browser to http://mini.opera.com/ and click on Download Opera Mini.
2. Answer 'Yes' to all installation messages and enjoy browsing the full Web, right on your mobile phone!
