Unfortunately no. It also lacks the ability to carry out download requests; these get directed to the BB Browser.

Who knows, maybe someday it will become a complete replacement browser.

Opera Mini works fine on Verizon BlackBerrys -- it doesn't work on Verizon phones.

yes i know i just figured it out. my problem was it was in internet explorer browser mode and not blackberry mode. therefore, i would assume it was thinking i was on a computer instead of a phone becuase it wouldnt let me download anything in general until i switched it back over.

Hi,

I work for Opera Software in the US (Opera is a Norwegian company).

Blackberries are perfect devices for Opera Mini. We would love to see a tighter integration of Opera Mini on Blackberries, but right now we are only able to run as any other third party application on the platform.

To be able to catch URLs from for instance e-mail would be a good first step. As always it would help if people pushed RIM directly on this issue. We will also do our best to make Opera Mini the Blackberry browser of choice.
