okay so i like the way on the bb 8130 they have a password keeper program and it will secure that type of data but is there any program that would protect and encrypt notes? For example if i wrote a note or memo and wanted it protected by a password. is this possible?

I know that CryptMagic, which is a Password Manager, has a Notes field for each entry, but I am not sure this is what you are looking for.

the OEM password keeper has a notes field in it but its not streamlined for notes or memos specifically. thats what i am looking for, basically a program that is more designed to encrypt and store notes in more of a word or text format.

I use and love IdeaMatrix. It's not quite a word format, but you can access it via an internet browser for using a full keyboard and managing notes. It has a password protection on it - you can choose to keep certain ones private, and engage the private mode so no one can read what you're writing in there. It's a bit pricey, but I have a million uses for it and it seems it'll fit exactly what you're looking for.
