Has anyone else come across this program -

It's a little program that is supposed to:
BerrySpeedy adds new menu items to your BlackBerry phone, helping you work more efficiently by quickly adding new task items, composing PIN messages with only two clicks, and inserting contact and appointment information into mail messages

I cannot get this to work quite right. The Insert appointment/note/contact on the menus doesn't work for me, and all I can really do is use the BerrySpeedy menu to create a quick task. I don't know if I'm missing something, where one sets it up and whatever else.

Has anyone else heard of or used this program? Know who made it? It seems the soundforge file was uploaded a year ago, and as a beta. Is there a more recent version of this program out there (perhaps under a different name)? It seems like a really good idea, I just wish it would actually work.

Heard of it. Tried it out. Didn't like it and it only worked on the older 7000 series devices. Seems to be abandonware for quite awhile so don't get your hopes up. RIM should really help build up their free software community. Compared to Windows Mobile, Symbian, and even the iPhone our free software community is practically nonexistent. The ones that manage to endure like Beyond411 have to just suck it up and deal with RIM's indifference.
