Default PocketDay question... - 07-18-2005, 07:23 AM

I believe I remember reading somewhere the key sequence to use when you're using the phone and need to get to the calendar to check availability. I think that was in PocketDay. I've done a search, both here and on the PocketDay website, but can't find it. Has this come to me in a vision, or have I just missed it? (Or is it somewhere else?) Thanks!

To switch from one application to another, press and hold the ALT key, then press the ESC key. A list of open applications will appear.

Well you can always get to any active application by pushing the alt or half-moon key and the escape key (below the trackwheel). That will let you select your calendar (or any other thing running such as PocketDay) and then go back to where you were.

Pocket Day problems
I am not sure what the problem is, but for several weeks, my stocks have not updated nor has my weather. I called Cingular and made sure they have the Pay per Use setting correct and they do but I don't get updates. My other programs that access the same information are updating but I prefer to use PD.
Also I tried putting in an addtional location for weather and when I tried to chenge to the new location it never changes.

Anyone have any ideas.

Thank,
Rob

Yes, I went to the Pocket Day website to check the current version and I have 2.17.

I did have a problem with Cingular where they keep charging me for "Fee per Use" even though I have the Blackberry unlimited use plan. When I get my bill I call Cingular and they remove the charges.

Do the undates to Pocket Day come as SMS because they say that is the only extra thing I should be charges for.

Rob

NEX-TEL,

Are you a corporate user? If you are a corporate user and your company doesn't have MDS (mobile data services enabled) you will not be able to get this working. For Nextel the PocketDay communications settings MUST be: INternet connection set to Default, WAP NOT CHECKED and all other fields blank.

If you change any of those, reset the firewall, save and reboot.

If the settings are already correct and you have a corporate BB without MDS enabled then it won't work.
