Default Blackchat - Can't send any messages - 07-18-2005, 05:47 PM

Hey all. I have just installed Blackchat on my 7100t, and am having a few problems. First of all, it is not showing any contacts. It will not allow me to add contacts either...if I try, it disconnects and reconnects. It does connect, as other people can see me online, and they can send me a message...however, if I reply, it doesn't get to the other person.

I have had verichat working in the past, so I guess the handset is setup properly...I'm just wondering if there is a Blackchat setting I'm not seeing.

I'm with T-Mobile UK BTW.

All help appreciated

It's a free ICQ client.

what's the error message received or what happens?

Also is your APN programed into Options -> TCP/IP?

APN is programmed, and I have had verichat demo working without a hitch. I got one error message about a bad DNS...but that only happened once.

It connects just fine, and I can be seen online, but I can only receive...I can't seem to send any communication to the server whatsoever.

Cheers

hmm, for that you'll probably end up having to contact them for support since you are connected, it should be that for what ever reason there server won't permit you to send IMs...

Not sure, sorry. Wish I could be more of a help for this one..
