It does not show my SHORT TERM forecast.

Also, I would like to be able to stop it but it seems like it is always on and waiting to update although the interval can be longer.

This app was most likely written for another country (France or Canada, I'm guessing since the other language is French) and they probably have short term forcasts. For us it's a 5 day forcast and that's "long term."

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

My city has 75,000 residents. Didn't make the cut.

Has anyone noticed that the homescreen icon/text doesn't update with the current conditions? For exmaple, it might read "48 F, A few clouds" but when I open the app the actual temp is 57 F and clear... Almost like it only updates the homescreen icon twice a day.

Minor gripe, otherwise I find it updates faster than BBWeather.

Edit: dis-regard, got it sorted!

Is there an OTA link for Weatherbug? Cant seem to find one and i searched the forums...nothing....

Seems to be only offered through handango...?

---Also, is there a way to see a list of which cities are offered in a particular state?

***EDIT****

nevermind: US Cities Index - Weather Forecast - The Weather Network

Edit: It finally worked for me. Testing it out now. Too bad I live an hour away from Chicago and the temp can be as much as a 20 degree difference but it looks pretty cool if they could add more cities.

Didn't work well on my 8703e. When I click the trackwheel it opens a browser window to their website.

A bit off to the side, but I use the Weather Underground as a bookmark - it's hardcore (data) and mobile, shows up beautifully on my 8320 - all other "mobile weather" junk pales in comparison in my opinion. Here's a link to my zipcode:

http://mobile.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?brand=mobile&query=94107

Copy & paste that to your device, and just put your own zipcode on the end there and you're set - bookmark as many as you'd like.

$0.02 from el rivvie.

This is the actual webpage for Weather Bug Direct. WeatherBug Direct for BlackBerry live local weather plus live temperature and local forecasts direct to your BlackBerry

This is the OTA Link WeatherBug Direct For Blackberry

I'm am gonna keep WeatherEye for a few days to compare. Even though WeatherEye looks really nice it doesn't have all the functions of Weatherbug (weather alerts, 2 home screen icons for temp and outside weather, etc). Just my opinion.
Nevermind that the Icon shows the forecast and moving the cursor over the icon states the temp, but as someone mentioned before it doesn't always show the current weather conditions.

Very wierd ... it finds your town but it won't find the city I work in ... which is a major city outside of Boston; nutty.

I don't know which one of these apps to believe. All three of them WeatherEye, WeatherBug and BBWeather show different current weather conditions for the same city.
