I just installed it onto my curve and love it so far. Sorry no screen shots but its sweet.

MrKyoo 03-25-2008 06:24 PM

Thanks, will give it a go.

Here's a demo of it. WeatherEye

zerog46 03-25-2008 06:26 PM

I have been using it for about a week now and it works great...

MrKyoo 03-25-2008 06:37 PM

^ And you planned on keeping it all to yourself. Shame, shame.

John Clark 03-25-2008 06:41 PM

*writes zerog off my good list*

Wow...quite nice! Free because of the ads I suppose?

The problem is that you can only have one city. Unlike weather push where you can have several cities on your homescreen. Or am I missing something.

Sith_Apprentice 03-25-2008 06:52 PM

someome wanna post what this is? im lazy and although i can tell it has to do with weather, thats about it

John Clark 03-25-2008 06:53 PM

Yeah, that is a downside. It's nicely done, though. MrKyoo posted a demo above.

Sith_Apprentice 03-25-2008 06:55 PM

oops thought that was a demo itself for download.

akosnitzky 03-25-2008 07:10 PM

Are you all finding that it is limited to mostly larger cities? I would like to just have my zip code.

John Clark 03-25-2008 07:11 PM

Nope, you can search for any city. I live in a small town and it found mine.

I agree

Cory Scheuer 03-25-2008 07:30 PM

no i'm in some what a smaller city compared to vancouver in british columbia and it foudn my city without issue, the app is fast, and barely uses any data at all... good looking, and so far no bugs! sure beats the push service...

Lmao, its a weather thingy like BBweather if you want to compair it I guess.

SteveO86 03-25-2008 08:37 PM

Yea, its like BBWeather or WeatherBug Direct.

Weather Push would not find any city close enough to me, I never tried BBWeather, so I've been using Weather Bug Direct. I installed WeatherEye earlier and the application is very nicely done, it looks a lot nicer then weather bug, but the one thing I like about weather bug is the weather alerts I get pushed, WeatherEye can only get updates every half hour (min).

I'm am gonna keep WeatherEye for a few days to compare. Even though WeatherEye looks really nice it doesn't have all the functions of Weatherbug (weather alerts, 2 home screen icons for temp and outside weather, etc). Just my opinion.

akosnitzky 03-25-2008 08:52 PM

Is weather bug free?

Is there a time on the current weather?

juwaack68 03-25-2008 09:03 PM

Interesting app. Will give it a few days and see how I like it.

Didn't find my city, though :-( We only have 9 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 2 high schools. Small potatoes, apparently
