Default Questions About EZ Reregister

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, I wanted to answer a few questions I've been asked so everyone can see the answers.

The data used with EZ Reregister is stored in an encrypted database file on your desktop. Without the application, there is virtually no way anyone can view your registration information. That is why I strongly recommend that you use a login name and password, even though you can opt to use the software without one.

The drawback is that if you use Mac or Linux, you can't use the software. However, I'm working on the online version which you can access via any browser, including the Blackberry browser. If you want to play around with that, go to Online Application Data.

Check the News & Updates page on the EZ Reregister site for more info about the online version.

With both the desktop and the online version, nothing resides on your Blackberry. I did it that way deliberately so that if your Blackberry gets run over by a Mac truck, you can still enter your new PIN and request new registration codes. Nothing "goes to the grave" with the Blackberry.

All of the marketing discussions leading up to the release pointed to a regular price of $14.99 to $29.99 for the Full version. April first the regular price will go to $14.99 (currently $12.99), and I don't see it going up from there for the foreseeable future.

Although no price has been set for the online version, there will be two subscription terms available, 12 and 24 months.

For the desktop version I have a link where you can get the full version for $9.99. I've posted on another forum that I'll leave that up until April 1st (no foolin'!). If you wish to take advantage of that, visit EZ Reregister.

Myself and the rest of my team welcome any comments or suggestions you have about EZ Reregister. One caviot; the entire purpose of EZ Reregister is to make it easier to get new registration codes, and that's where I want the focus to stay. If you have an idea about something you'd like to be able to do with some online access via the BB, go ahead and email us, but if we like your idea, you're likely to see it in another service or product, and not in EZ Reregister. Contact us at [email address].
