Hi all,

Just a quick question but should the google talk app work over a wi-fi/uma connection? I ask because I only seem to be able to sign in over gprs/edge.

Thanks, Dan

It currently does not support wi-fi. One workaround is JiveTalk 1.0.5.

Yes, eakeller is right on the money.
Another vote for JiveTalk here on WiFi.

Dan
Google Talk 2.0.46, Google Maps 2.2.0 and Blackberry Map 4.2 (4.2.2.169) all work over WiFi. Frustratingly Google Talk can not maintain a connection during the fail over between WiFi and EDGE or the other way

I'm not sure about the Map apps during fail over.
