TwitterBerry is not my scene, can't get down with it. I have been using UberTwitter and I like how that works.

personally I don't use any client. what works best for me is a homepage called dabr.co.uk which is quite similar to the twitter homepage itself but far easier to use.
In my opinion better than twitterberry and twibble...

I would argue that SocialScope is more robust, IMHO... but it's a good thing, as these apps are playing 'leap frog' with each other, adding features, cleaning up their processes (memory and battery usage, etc), so that as users, we get the best choice possible...

I agree about Tweeteev... I certainly expected it to be out by now...

I received my email from tweeteev and I'm looking forward to it.

Ifinally got an invite to social scope. The only thing that I like about SS is you can view FB & Twitter at the same time, other than that it's server is just stupid slow, and never responds.....at least for me,but I could be doing something wrong.

Default What's the big deal about Twitter? - 08-03-2009, 02:46 PM

At the risk of sounding like a heretic, for some reason I never understood the appeal of Twitter. I signed up for an account when it was just starting and then I said to myself, ok what am I supposed to do with this. Maybe "Hey everyone, I'm sitting at my computer wasting time when I should be working". So should I try it again? If so why?

I agree. To each, their own. I can see where it can appeal to others.

However, I find it ironic that you are posting to BlackBerryForums, supposedly from a work computer, "wasting time" when you "should be working."

Heretic, interesting choice of words.

Yes maybe that was a little strong. Guess there was a little sarcasm intended, but also it was just a comment on my slowness to jump into the latest cool thing. Seriously though, I thought Twitter was just a way informing people about what you were doing at the moment, a sort of log of your life. Maybe it's been enhanced with other stuff that I would find more usefull. I use Viigo for news.

Twitter can be whatever you want it to be.

Try this-Go to twitter's search page or use something like twitterfall, search on a topic or keywords of interest to you, and just watch for a few minutes. I think you'll get it if you do that, but maybe not.

There are various things you can do. One is bookmark a rss feed on a keyword search you have done.

Start looking for twitter links on your favorite newsites. National news sites as well as your local paper and TV and radio stations.
