Default Infospace Crashed - 04-10-2008, 10:16 PM

I was trying Infospace voice commands and after several uses (it seemed to be working great), my BB automatically reset. Then Infospace froze when I brought it back up, requiring a battery pull. I deleted and re-installed and it works, but I hesitate to use it until I get some sense what's going on. Any ideas what that means or why it would happen? I should have had around 16-17 meg memory when that happened. I wrote to them but haven't heard back yet.

it has happened to me also with the previous version. thus far it has not happened with the latest vrsion (knock on wood).

the crashes are annoying because until you do a battery pull, it will interrupt your voice calls.

i think the program was initally rolled out as a testing version and isn't fully stable. but it is still a great program

I give up on Infospace. It seems like such a great program. But On my Pearl 8130, although it downloads fine, and initially seems to be working, when I go to get a map, it crashes..."Uncaught exception. Java.lang.null." Is Beyond411 any better on an 8130?
