Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I decided to wait for the excitement and hysteria to subside and downloaded the trial for XM radio.

I was able to download it quickly but it would shut off every 10 or 15 min. It also ate my battery up rather quickly. Maybe the product will improve but for now, I will just keep it in my wife's car.

Bummer. I figured it would eat the battery pretty fast. I occasionally listen to the internet radio site, Soma.fm, and the battery will take noticeable hit with 10-15 minutes of listening. I guess for some people it'd work if they don't plan on using for more than like 1/2 - 1 hour a day, or they have an upgraded battery or something.

The program needs some work indeed.

I didn't think Verizon allowed the XM usage, maybe it's just the 8130 that didn't support the new XM program.

I'm getting the curve and hoping it will support it if verizon actually supports the XM usage...
