The Agendus feature I need is one on which templates can be created for future events which recur frequently but randomly (e.g. not every-other-week, every-third day, etc). I used such a system, to include colors and icons for various appointments, when I was in the Palm world.
I understand that Agendus for Blackberry is in development, but I would rather not wait until July to add it.
Agendus for Windows (AFW) should not affect your BB, except in one key way: Agendus puts "tags" into the notes field of your calendar entries, tasks, memo pad entries, and address book entries. These are used to keep track of Agendus attributes (like fonts, non-standard alarms, non-standard repeats) that are not natively supported by Outlook.
Which means that all of your BB PIM items will now have notes with cryptic data in them.
It also means that if you use a Agendus-only feature, things could go out of sync. For example, Agendus treats certain types of repeats differently than the BB. For example, redo vs. repeat tasks.
Stay away from any Agendus-specific functionality that directly affects an item, such as repeats, and you'll be fine.
As someone said, Agendus for Blackberry is expected some time later this year. No conclusive word on what it will include.
Be aware, too, that Iambic software has a mixed history with respect to quality. If you are using a .3 or later version of something, you'll likely be OK. Before that, expect bugs. Some rather significant and potentially data corrupting.
I was an Agendus Palm and Windows users for a while. When went to the Blackberry, I stopped using both. It wasn't worth using AFW without the corresponding mobile version.
