This free program is supposed to be comparable with BB Weather but less buggy.

Works good but you can only see one day in the future.

Does it show the current condition on the home screen?

What snice is it's not always running, when you open it up it takes about 2 seconds to update.

YWeather is nice and simple to use but I've been spoiled by WeatherEye with its display on the home screen.

Very nice app but I still prefer BBWeather. I could see YWeather becoming better in future releases tough.

WeatherEye is very cool as well....hmmm...might have to try that one again.

Any other weather apps display conditions on home screen or is it just weathereye? the closest city to me in near water(10-15 mins away) and often temps can vary by 10+degrees.

This is nice and a bit more user friendly than BBWeather

"Uncaught exception: String index out of range:-24"

Can't get it to work. Too bad. Maybe because of my BES?

Not to get off topic. I like Weather Eye as well but am in the group of which my City is not included.

Other then WeatherEye, Weather Bug Direct gives 2 home sceeen icons, 1 with the outside temp and 1 icon with the current conition outside. I prefer Bug over Eye. I may have to try this application just to try it

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

I notice it is only updating weather as of one hour ago. I don't know if that is a setting or a problem with the server.

This app is a good start. It needs multiple stored profiles, and longer range forecast.

As for Weather Bug, it's nice but it's not free.

Weather Eye is nice with the current conditions on the home screen but it doesn't have all cities and doesn't support multiple city profiles.

Your post is well stated. Another option may be to bookmark your city through The Weather Channel and utilize Web Shortcuts.
