I just tried this link with a 7105t with OS 4.1 and it appears to download completely but at the end I get "Download Failed." When I view details it says "097 invalid cod." Anyone else see this?

I'm seeing this error with a couple devices I tried to install it on. One is a 7100i w/ 4.1 OS and the other is an 8703e w/4.1 OS.

My error (url issue) or John's error?

Since she quoted me I'm assuming its the "download failed" error.

Yep, but I think it's a 907 invalid cod, not 097...

When I compiled the fixed version this morning, I didn't actually expect my RIM signing key to work so I didn't pay any attention to which version of the Blackberry JDE that I used or which version of BBWeather I compiled.

I compiled this with JDE v4.2 and using a personal modded version of BBWeather. Using JDE v4.2 is probably causing the problem with older OS versions. I have installs for JDE v4.1 and JDE v4.0. Is anyone still using 4.0 OS versions anymore? If so, I should probably compile with that.

Thanks for the fix! For some reason though, the cities are sorted alphabetically (which I don't mind) but it keeps forgetting my current city and reverts to the one that is first in the list alphabetically. For the time being, I have deleted all cities except my own.

Thanks again!

I fixed my problem - I need to alter the mds settings in options.

My weather is also sorting oddly.

Use the track ball instead of the menu button. This was a problem in the previous version of BBWeather......I think.

When you create the city profiles, set a shortcut... like 'b' for Birmingham, or H for Honalululululu, etc., and when you open BBWeather, simply press the shortcut letter for the City set... toggle back and forth if you like with the shortcut.

Ah, thanks! I was using .74 before (not sure of the difference between .74 and .75), and it would sort the cities in the order that you entered them. Of course, I entered my home city first. So, if hitting the menu key meant that it went to the first city in the list (which WAS my home city but is now the first city alphabetically), that makes perfect sense!

(using trackball + sort alphabetically) > (menu key + dead BBWeather)

v0.77 compiled with JDK v4.0. This should hopefully allow it to install on older OS versions. I also reverted back to the original way of scrolling through forecast data. I am not seeing the other new issues that have been mentioned; my list sorts in alphabetical order and it always remembers the last city I had selected.
