Thanks a lot tateu!

I'm running into a small problem, though. I already deleted BBWeather before installing the new version and although the new version installed without a hitch, when I run the application it says "Error: No Weather Profiles specified" and freezes my 8100.

As if remember correctly, this was an issue with the original software, too but I can't remember what you do to add the profile without freezing up the 8100.

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful!

edit: Found the solution: How do I get BB Weather to work on the 8100 / 8300 / 8800? - BlackBerryFAQ

Works like a champ! It's great to have this application back

Hi how are u. I just read only to this point. I put a thread about my BB Weather not working in the 3rd Party App a couple of days ago. Should I continue reading here? i.e. is it because BB Weather is no longer working? If so gives me a piece of mind and I will look for some recommended freeware.

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

you mean TCP? Yes. In fact, they only work over TCP or BES.

Sorry this is my first blackberry. I guess I meant TCP. I set up my account with my APN info and use my wap browser for the internet. I don't have a data plan.....yet! So this will work then correct? Thanks for the quick response!

Thank you, I set up my profile but it says Tunnel timed out or give me a null error. I disabled MDS proxy but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Nevermind I got it to work. I had to change my APN settings. I wonder why my other APN settings never worked, but my browser worked fine?

Thanks Tateu. I've never used BBWeather before, but it certainly is something that I missed for the last 2 years :(

Not sure if anyone has asked, but is there any way to get a radar image to show? That would be ultra sweet.

Any ideas please? I'm on Vodafone Ireland, BIS.

Thanks

Done already. Still that error. I suspect the TCP settings are wrong, but I can't find the correct ones for Vodafone Ireland.

I might try to call their support today!
