for some reason, BBWeather stopped working for me. Nothing loads, all I get is Error: null.. Any ideas? I am on a 8100 with the latest OS, and correct apn settings.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

If it was working and then just quit, I'd say leave it be. Its likely a carrier apn issue. It'll likely resolve itself.

If it has never worked make sure the apn is correct. Make sure the disable mds proxy is unchecked if you're on BES. If not, check the box.

Good to see this app, but I just put it on my 7130e and it works fine, but on the forecast I can't scroll. Something I didn't do?

Can the radar be added to this?

EDIT: Nevermind on the scrolling, it was "selecting text" and I had to stop that and it scrolls. Weird.

Make sure that you have your carrier's apn info entered in Options >Advanced Options >TCP.

Then if you're on BES, uncheck the box in BBWeather that says "disable MDS proxy." If you're not on BES, then check the box.

Did you install the new version? If you have version .75 or lower it won't work.

I just downloaded BBWeather from the link provided by Tateu in this thread, and I'm getting an Invalid URL parameter error. I saw that this could be remedied by changing the TCP settings, but I don't have TCP in my advanced options. Is there any way I can fix this?

Neither of these apply to me, any other ideas? Thanks for the reply

What do you mean "none of these apply to me?"

They certainly DO apply to you. You MUST have the apn settings entered and if you are NOT on BES you MUST check the box as instructed.

Oops! I posted in error. If you're NOT on BES, check the box.

.77 worked fine for me for about the first week...

Now every other time I hit the menu key to bring up the little submenu to update or to view forecast...nothing happens after I choose my option. It stays on the main weather screen, doesn't update or anything. When this happens, I can not bring that sub-menu up anymore. I have to let it sit for several hours or do a battery pull. It seems as if I have to have perfect reception in order to use bbweather normally, or something like that. I'm not getting any errors which is confusing me.

Too many headaches, not worth the trouble...so I removed the app and will be trying out other weather apps.

Anybody have any idea what "Error: expecting ';'." and sometimes "Error: null"

I have that 0.77 version.

=(

I'm on T-Mobile if it matters...

Did you add your apn settings under Options >Advanced Options >TCP? Also, did you check the "Disable MDS Proxy" box in BBWEather?

My BBWeather stopped this morning as well. Tried battery reset, my MDS Proxy is disabled, and APN settings are correct. Any suggestions?

It's probably an issue with AT&T's apn. It'll likely come back. Make sure you have version .77, though.
