Ted,
When I check on an item it is pushed to the bottom of the list but the item currently at the bottom moves up in its place. Its like it really swaps places with the bottom item. The bottom most unchecked item, that is. This throws off the whole order of the list, which I have in a custom order.
I see this feature of moving checked items down was just added in version 1.08. I assume this isn't how it is supposed to work though?
I am running MaraTick version 1.08 on a BB Curve 8330 OS 4.5.0.56 / VZW.
Any help would be appreciated because other than this one issue the app is WONDERFUL. Thank you very much for writing it.

I normally mail the lists to myself... (and reimport after an upgrade; as it doesn't normally make it thru a migration/upgrade)

You can capture all the lists and information en masse by clicking the Blackberry key, then choosing 'Copy All'. Then as suggested by PDM above, e-mail that information to yourself. Then, to restore, open the email, copy all the information to the clipboard, open MaraTick, click the Blackberry key, and select 'Add Data from Clipboard'.

One thing I didn't like was the kxml module. It's creator tag was <unknown>.

I downloaded this program over the weekend, very cool, although it is a bit annoying have to scroll back up the list each time you check something off.

Is there a way to change the default
Name
Amount
Measure
I've been using measure as a note section (ie name: dog stuff, measure: food, toys, bed)
is there any way to change these so its not so food shopping based?
I've read through this thread twice now, and unless I'm just not understanding the computer language (very possible) I didn't see an answer.

You can override any existing versions. It should theoretically keep your existing data. But, just in case, you still might wanna backup your MaraTick data.
You can do that like so:
On main screen 'Copy all' and afer switching to a Memopad or someting, 'Paste' and save.

Hi Ted,
I really like this program. One request for a later version: I would like a way to indicate that I have a coupon for an item. Perhaps there could be a "coupon" check box that you fill during entry. Then the list shows some icon that indicates that there is a coupon for that item.
Thanks,
Ariel

FWIW - I installed 1.1.3 on my 8330 this morning with no problems whatsoever. All existing lists were retained, and everything works great. This is still one of my favorite apps!

Oh... Um... I don't know how to put this. I just ran the newest version of MaraTick (1.1.3), and I have a question: is there any way to get back to a more "professional" look? I'm not a fan of the flowery UI.
Additionally, I see that the title of the list includes the list name and the number of checked/total items in the list. However, checking off an items doesn't increase the number listed in the title until exiting from the list and then returning to it.
Lastly, as others have asked, is there any way to stop the cursor from jumping to the bottom of the list when checking off an item. With a large list such as a grocery list, constantly having to scroll from the bottom of the list to somewhere near the top is frustrating.
Thanks, though, for an otherwise excellent program.

I was happy to discover this behavior seems to be fixed with this release.
The only issue I'm seeing is that when I go to create a new list, the dialog box is blank except for the icon for the list and the OK and Cancel buttons. If I scroll down the box, different sections of it highlight, but I basically cannot create new lists at this point. I'm using the Precision Zen theme, but have no other odd things set up for my user interface. Will try it with a different theme, see if that changes anythings.
Thanks again for all your work on this application!

Not fixed in mine. Are we talking about the same issue? Say I have a list of ten items. None are checked. I select the top most item and check it off. That item, along with the cursor, moves to the bottom of the list. I have to scroll back to the top of the list to check off the new top item in the list.

Nope, mine is not jumping to the bottom of the list now. The checked item jumps to the bottom, but the highlight stays right where it was. I'm running v. 1.1.3 on a Verizon 8330 Curve.

Wirelessly posted
I just upgraded to 1.1.4 from 1.0.8 and now the NEW and EDIT screens are all white with white text. Can't read em. Probably an issue with my custom theme. Is there a OTA link to a previous version? I do like that saving and pushing ok in an entry doesn't duplicate the entry anymore

ifonline, have you figured this one out? I have the same behavior, the selelection moves to the bottom of the list each time I mark an item. I have an 8310 running OS v4.2.2.146
