Default Webmessenger/ BES/ APN/ Company Proxy

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to use one of the multi messengers and can not seem to get them to connect. Here is the situation.

I know my APN settings are correct for Cingular as they worked flawless with ramble IM. However, this setting does not seem to work with webmessenger, verichat, or IM+.

I am on the company BES server 4.x, handheld is 7290 on 4.x, and BES server is on a network that has to use restricted proxy connections to get the internet.

Can these client not by pass the BES and just use straight TCP and if so what, where, how, and help with the settings please.
