I just downloaded the trial for FlipSide. Its an audio player for the Blackberry. It is by FAR the coolest looking app on BB. Try it:

This one is pretty cool too....it's in the beta stage so it's free, but for anyone who had an iPhone or iPod & missed the appeal the iPod has, this is a great one.

Unless they've fixed it, weakness of 3rd-party players is that they haven't allowed volume control when in the background...do these allow control of volume via the BB volume keys when they aren't on-screen? I know flipside did not in the vesions I tried a while back. Haven't tried the other...

Nope

Flipside now has quick resume mode if you simply hit the Blackberry Apps key (left of trackball). This immediately brings you to the Flipside app, then you can adjust the volume. It would be nice to just hit the volume buttons anytime though.
