Default SMS Display On - $2 until June 1st! - 05-25-2008, 01:07 PM

First of all, all credit is due to BBF user murene for this awesome discovery.

BBF user jack55 was looking for a way for the screen to turn on when a text message was received originally here in this thread and murene posted about a program called SMS Display On which does just that.

The program is at a reduced price of $2 (from its regular price of $3) until June 1st and works like a charm. You can adjust the time for how long the screen will light up as well as deactivate the program if you wish. Link to the program is below.

This is nice to know.
All that searching and I never found that site. I'll get it just to have it for that price, However I will still use the BBLights as after all I talked tateu into redoing the code for me and others, PLUS this is FREE!

Once again I thank tateu for taking the time to do that!

... and thank you murene for the link as now we have choices that we didn't have a week ago!

Here is my BB 8320 faceplate install guide.

In the next version, there will be a feature that displays the received SMS for a couple of seconds/minutes.

Do you want this feature or is it not worth it?

Vibration and Ringtone at the same time? Finally!

Although this sounds good, I've used BBAlerts, which works great on my 8320, also worked good on my past 8703e. I have the LED indicator light up one specific color for SMS, Email, Cal alerts. Then with the color alert on JT now, I know where I'm being 'ringed' from.
