First, I can no longer use BB Weather. I took it off and reinstalled. It should be unchecked "disable.." correct, right? Then my current Zip that I had been using for years no longer works. I tried that one site and it just pulls up my zip 21236

Next, I am constantly when turning off and on, or not even that, being signed into Yahoo IM.

Any ideas there I have checked all settings...I think

Unless you're on a BES (with MDS!), Disable MDS Proxy should be checked.

You'll also need to get the latest version. See this post:
