Default Aplus Video Converter - FREE TODAY! 5/29/08 - 05-29-2008, 11:59 AM

Normally priced at $39.95, it seems for today only at GiveAwayOfTheDay.com you can get your hands on a FREE Copy of the Aplus Video Converter. If you want to convert your movies to be viewable on your BlackBerry, you'll want to check this out. Can't argue on that price!

From what I heard about this on Howard Forums, this only allows one install of the app, and no upgrades/updates. And if you have to uninstall the app you evidently can't reinstall it again.

This is the downside to giveawayoftheday. You can only install on the day that the item is available for free. If you uninstall or move to another machine, you lose.

That said, some product vendors MIGHT be willing to help you out if you end up in a situation like this. I say "might" since it depends on the vendor.

As for "one install," this isn't true. You can install on as many machines as you like, as long as you do it all on the day that the "free install" is available.

As for "no upgrades or updates," this is (in general) true. However, this will depend on the vendor. Some products will allow you to upDATE with bug fix releases, but will not give you discounted/free upGRADES.
