Default "e-Mobile Alerts" software - 05-29-2008, 10:56 PM

Anyone have this application? I just bought it, put it on my BB 8310, and tried assigning specific alerts to it. When I tried assigning ringtones to specific phone numbers, sms, etc., I get an error message saying "The application has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy." Then no ringtones appear for me to choose from and then another message pops up saying "Uncaught exception: Index 0 >= 0"

So basically, I can only assign LED color notifications and that's about it. Anyone with this app know how to resolve this?

TIA

Are you connected to a BES environment for your school/employer? Sounds like the IT policy is blocking your attempts to alter something that they don't want altered. You can't get there from here it that's the case.
