There is a free webcam app I had a few years ago called visionsGS( I think that is the name). Which you can set to take snapshots every 2 seconds to be uploaded to your server on your website. I've been looking at mobiscope too, tried the free version but the pearl can't stream the video. This will probably be the only alternative that will work right now. I think I'm going to try it when I get home! If I can find my webcam that's been collecting dust for a few years. Will post back in a couple of days if I can get it to work.

The easiest way is to ftp or email the webcam image. If you want streaming video, there's not a whole lot out there for free. For a simple, good free app try Salient Software Snap Shooter. Use with Aprelium - Abyss Web Server and setup a free personal web server. Save the "print screen" from snap shooter into the web server directory, then go to your ip address to watch the screenshot. Hit reload to refresh page. Free and works great.

Isn't there a remote desktop app available, maybe you can use that to view your webcam...

Try this: webcamXP :: powerful webcams and ip cameras server for windows
I use an older version, but it works great when I set it to use Java instead of flash.

I've been using YAWCAM. It allows you to call up a still image via a WAP website any time you want and also can be set to e-mail you a picture every time it detects motion.

Someone also set me up with a program that will e-mail a picture at a preset interval. I have mine set to send a picture every 2 hours while I'm at work.

You can check mine out at http://mikeyp1.notlong.com

I am using webcamxp. It's pretty good software. Right now I think they offer it free for private use for one source/webcam

I am running 3 cams
here is my site Moe's webcams
you can move two of the webcams around by clicking pan and tilt.

Also has a section for pocket pc's/smart phones here is that link http://208.127.102.193:8080/pocketPC

I clicked on the link to your cam site but it does not load. Is it still working?
