Wirelessly posted (Blackberry Curve 8330)

This is kind of two questions in one. First, is there a way to replace Blackberry Core apps, such as alarm, with 3rd Party apps? I.e. Have a 3rd party alarm install instead of the default one, but still use the same theme icon.

Second, what is a good multi-alarm program? Is there a good voice command program to replace vad, such as MS Voice Command on Windows Mobile?

No, you can't use the same icon for 3rd party apps.

I would recommend BBSmart Alarms from ezainny, he has developed the BBSmart HTML viewer, and i am thoroughly impressed with both.
