Default Network Issues - 06-04-2008, 01:51 PM

So I am trying to play a game on my blackberry and it is telling me that my "network settings have not yet been configured." If anyone can tell me how to solve this issue, I will be happy.
Thanks

The app needs to have the network settings configured. Is there anywhere in the app's preferences or options for network settings? It needs to choose BIS, BES, TCP, etc....

It may only use TCP. So go to Options >Advanced Options >TCP and enter the following for Tmobile:

apn:wap.voicestream.com
username
password

leave username and password blank. Save the settings and try the game again.

once you enter the voicestream info, save and pull the battery to reboot. Sometimes it "could" take an hour or so to work. Set it down and look at it again in a while.

It usually doesn't take any time at all on TMo, nor does it require a reboot. Did any popup messages come up after you installed the app and then ran it for the first time? You may need to reset the permissions for the game. Go to Options >Advanced Options >Applications and set all the permissions to allow.

For the years I had TMo, at times it could take a period of time. My suggestion could be valid if it just isn't working "yet". It might be working later. Since entering the data for voicestream didn't make an immediate difference, this could the your issue. YMMV.

Yeah, could be. JSanders is right...Sometimes TMo's tcp is on and off. But the settings have taken effect.
