Default FileLock - 06-05-2008, 04:06 PM

Greetings all...

I have recently installed FileLock from getjar.com and have noticed that you are prompted to grant access to each file contained within a directory... every time you want to lock or unlock that directory. Does anybody know if there is a way to answer this question in a global fashion? I have multiple folders on my SD card, each containing multiple files. As my file count grows... so does the inconvenience of having to answer this question over and over.

I have also noticed that this only locks files with an extension in a selected directory. If there are sub-directories, it does not lock the contents of those. You need to touch every folder in order to lock/unlock the contained files. Does anybody have a trick for this?

I like the idea of this application, as I can password protect the files that I want to (phone or SD card)... rather than the entire phone. I just think that it needs to be a little more user friendly. I am open to suggestions of other available apps that can provide these same features.

Thanks for your time!
