Default Google Mobile Apps - 06-05-2008, 05:17 PM

Not a great day for me so far, this is my second post...

I can not download any Google Apps on my BB bowser. I am not sure if it is a Google issue or my BB browser issue. It all runs in circles. I go to mobile.google.com and either go to the "get started now" button or put in my device phone number to have the link sent via SMS and neither get me to a download page. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

BTW, the apps I am trying to download are:
Calendar
News
Google Search

None of those are apps. All they are is icons that launch the appropriate web page.

That doesn't answer why you're having problems, but I wouldn't tie myself in knots trying to get these. You can create bookmarks to do the same thing.

When you go to mobile.google.com from your BB browser, it doesn't give you a "download all" link?

Is your "emulation mode" set to something other than "Blackberry"? You should only get a "Get started now" if it thinks you're browsing with a non-mobile device.... I think.

My emulation mode is set to Microsoft IE.... I will change to Blackberry and see if that helps...

Also, no, when I go to mobile.google.com I do not get a "download now", only a "Get started now". And, when I click on the get started now, it starts the entire cycle over....

Hey guys, thanks! Both talon's and Christopher's suggestions worked. Much appreciated!
